Meet Brittany Johnson, a behind-the-scenes force helping keep MYP connected and involved in the community. For Brittany, the best part of being involved with MYP is the people — the friendships made, the network grown, and the opportunity to give back in meaningful ways.
She was recently nominated by her company for the Newcomer of the Year award with the Community Association Institute and just completed her first step toward becoming a certified community manager, a journey she’s proud to be on.
When she's not working, Brittany loves unwinding with a good thriller or catching up on reality TV. If she's out and about in McKinney, she’s probably browsing stickers at The Groovy Coop or grabbing a slice of The Bee’s Knees at Cadillac Pizza.
Something many people don’t know about her: Brittany wears hearing aids and has lived with hearing loss her whole life — a reminder that some challenges are invisible but always present.
She’s passionate about building community because she knows how powerful it can be to feel connected and at home — and she wants to help create that feeling for others.
