We wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that domestic violence and abuse can come in many different forms - check in on yourself and your friends regularly and take the time you need to heal💜❤️‍🩹Your safety, physical health, and mental health are all vital parts of staying healthy and safe.

Today, January 11th, is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

“Human Trafficking affects millions across the globe”. The Department of Homeland Security has launched the Blue Campaign to help spread awareness.

It’s up to each of us to stay educated, and to do our parts to make a difference. Here at Empty Hand Open Heart, we are dedicated to helping survivors of trafficking find their strength and sense of self again. By creating a community that is safe and encouraging, we help foster personal growth while also teaching self-defense and karate.
