Troop 376G Clifton, TX

08/31/2026

Our troop participated with a vendor booth at the Su***de Awareness walk in Clifton last night. One of the things I love about scouting is that is a place for everyone to belong and know that they matter. Our SPL pioneered a couple of easels for us and we gave out patches and stickers and made and gave out paracord people keyrings. We forgot to take pictures of the booth after we got it set up, but we did take a couple of people during the event.

Our troop is serving at the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry (at the VFD on the corner of Ave E and Live Oak) this evening. Come see us, get a great dinner, and bid on the auction items, all to help support our local fire department!

Two of our scouts, our ASM, and our SM all went with Crew 376 to the Mountain Man Camporee. It was a wild weekend! Check it out!

What does leadership look like for you. All scouts have opportunities for responsibilities that help develop their leadership skills. Come have fun and grow with us!

Leadership Looks Different for Every Scout

Leadership isn’t just giving commands. It also includes:
• Planning
• Helping younger Scouts
• Managing gear
• Keeping good records
• Quiet problem-solving
• Serving the troop faithfully

Scouts grow as they practice responsibility in ways that match their unique talents and strengths.

Our quartermaster became a velociraptor for the evening, visiting Pack 444 in China Spring to tell them all about the dinosaur themed cub scout day camp happening June 10-12. All K-5th graders are welcome, not just current scouts! The registration link is in the comments!
