The road ahead remains challenging. Damaged roads and bridges, continued rainfall, isolated communities, disrupted communication, and critical shortages of food, clean water, shelter, hygiene supplies, and medicines are making it difficult to reach those who need help most.

Sewa teams, working alongside local partners and volunteers, are continuing to reach affected communities, deliver essential supplies, assess emerging needs, and support the transition toward early recovery.

SEWA INTERNATIONAL USA RESPONDS TO NEPAL FLASH FLOODS

Sewa International USA, in collaboration with Sewa Nepal, is mobilizing urgent relief support for communities affected by the devastating flash floods in Nepal. This is our immediate response, and we will continue to do more to support affected families.

Relief supplies being mobilized include 300 tarps, 100 mattresses, 100 raincoats, 5,000 ORS packets, emergency medicines, biscuits, water bottles, ration kits, ponchos, floating foam and other essential supplies.

Seven Sewa Nepal volunteers are heading toward the northern affected areas with emergency relief materials to support families in need.

This response is strengthened by the support of SANA (San Antonio Nepali Association), the Nepali community in North Carolina, and Aum Ashram San Antonio, working together with Sewa International USA.

A dedicated helpline and WhatsApp group have also been launched to help families track and support Americans reported missing in Nepal.

Together, we stand with Nepal—bringing hope, compassion and relief when it matters most.
