On February 11, MPower Girls Camp hosted its third after-school STEM class of the year at KB Polk Elementary — led by MPGC Volunteer Bethell-Anne Osborne and Pariveda Solutions team, Allison, Madelin, Rebecca and Chau-nhi.

🌉 How do you cross a VERY wide river?
Logs?
A solar boat?
A trampoline bridge?!
Our MPower Girls Camp engineers tackled this challenge at KB Polk in our third after-school STEM class of the year 💡
They brainstormed.
They planned.
They designed.
They presented.
And they proved that teamwork makes ideas stronger.
🌉 The Ideas Were Outstanding:
A bridge with a trampoline in the middle (“for fun!” – thank you, Tiara 😊)
Large logs placed across with a balancing pole
A small boat powered by solar panels
Yes!!! Solar panels. Engineering minds at work, eh?

We have deliciously adorable Giving Tuesday news and we’re basically squealing. Like… squealing louder than our girls when they see a robot arm for the first time. 🤖💚

🌟 MPower Girls Camp is officially on Walmart Spark Good Round Up! 🌟

What does that mean?
It means that every time you shop on Walmart.com or Walmart app, you can tap ONE tiny button and BOOM — your spare change becomes a little STEM superhero.

✨ IMPORTANT CUTENESS ALERT:

🖥️ Round Up works online and in the app only —📲

🏬 NOT in the physical Walmart store. Boooooo! (Not even if you smile at the cashier. Lord knows we tried.) 😆

But good news!
If you order online for free pickup at your favorite Walmart, that DOES count and your pennies🪙 still come to MPGC like tiny heroes in capes. 🦸‍♀️💚
