Haltom Industries recently announced the opening of a new High Point, NC warehouse to enhance East Coast distribution. The expansion will significantly increase the company’s distribution capabilities east of the Mississippi. The new warehouse will accelerate transit times and improve support for their East Coast customers. The new facility began operation March 2, 2026.

Bob Reid was presented with SPIDA President’s Award at our meeting in Las Vegas this February, given for outstanding service to our organization. Bob joined SPIDA in 2007 and immediately made an impact as a technical advisor and contributor. He was instrumental in SPIDA’s largest project to date: spiral flat oval deflection and reinforcement testing. These tests eventually led, with Bob’s help, to inclusion in the newest SMACNA HVAC Duct Construction standards. He continues to promote spiral duct through his committee memberships in ASHRAE and previously with AMCA.

In 1987, Abenicio Sisneros and his three sons, Martin, Alex and Phillip, started their business. Without a shop and less than $2,500, they invested in a used pick-up truck and Lockformer Pittsburgh machine and began residential duct installations. In 1990 they decided to focus on manufacturing exclusively and named their company Sisneros Brothers Manufacturing.

Today they have a 50,000 square foot shop with 45 employees in Belen, NM, just outside of Albuquerque. They ship over 95% of their work outside of New Mexico with much of their work shipping to the West Coast, Southeast, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Sisneros Brothers specializes in welded stainless steel ductwork.
