Our handlers/horses are all registered with PetPartners. We are a non-profit organization, serving the DFW area, who schedules visits to bring smiles to children in medical care facilities, children with disabilities, schools, geriatrics, veterans, first responders and their families. We also offer an Anti-Bullying program to schools and groups of children called "Just Say WHOA To Bullying". Hospi

ce visits are provided as requested. We can arrange for Scouts and groups to work on badges or service projects. Outside of DFW with special arrangements.

Sorry peeps. This continues to be an exhausting week and I haven’t been able to post as I should. Between work and weather… I haven’t no more energy.

Goodnight everyone and all in the barn.

Yesterday evening bringing the horses in. It was a little muddy but they needed the time out and good thing because today we are starting the day with storms! Off and on rain throughout the day. Granted the grass, trees etc need the rain but it makes for long days not only for the minis but us too as we have to muck twice.

But it’s almost July and we will be grateful for all this rain during the heat of summer. We are to have a high of 92 today. Now off to work I go. Another long week.

Today is Sunday and the sun is shining! After breakfast I broke and let the horses out even though they will be a muddy mess this evening. In the second picture you can see the standing water. It’s worse in the back pasture. And then the third pic is all 5 of of the horses.

Hope wherever you are that you are enjoying Fathers Day. I’ll try to post later but only have two sites that I post each year. No knew photos. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Part Two: Wednesday was our visit to Children's Medical Center Dallas where we had a good turnout of patients, their families and many of the staff came out. We don’t take pictures of the patients or families but we try to get as many of employees as possible but still missed a few. Valor was all thinking he was going on walks with them like he does over at RMDH. It is so heartwarming to see all the excitement in the employees when they come out to visit knowing it gives them a break in regular routine but to bring smiles to the patients, especially those that don’t feel so good, that takes it to a whole new level.

As the week comes to an end, may you be wrapped in grace, peace, and the joyful anticipation of a beautiful weekend.

Yesterday was our visit to Children's Medical Center Dallas and we had a good turnout of patients, their families and of course the staff came out. I believe we had 145 or so coming out to visit Valor. Of course we don’t take pictures of the patients and families but we try to get as many of employees as possible. This is half of them and will post the other half tomorrow. Valor’s only visit this year prior to this visit was to Ronald McDonald House so he kept wanting or expecting us to take the patients for walks!

It's a good day to have a good day.

It’s Wednesday or ‘hump day’ - middle of the week AND today we go to Children’s Hospital Dallas! It will be in low 90’s. Chances of more thunderstorms from tomorrow though Saturday. Our pastures can’t catch a break to be mowed as evident in video.

Life is like a camera. Just focus on
what's important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negatIves & if things don't work out...just take another shot.

Hello Tuesday morning. We are starting the day at 71 degrees expecting a high of 86, partly cloudy and humid. What’s it like in your neck of the woods?

Appys are fascinating. All three of these are appys and all three are related having the same sire/dad with two of them having the same dam or broodmare/mom. Hope was born with all her spots while both boys, Valor and Levi’s spots are popping out starting about 3 years old. With the boys it’s like a box of chocolates - you never know what you’re going to get each year.

“Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.” 🎶 especially when my body is screaming more sleep!

But reality is that all the animals need attention and I have to go to work. With that said, the horses will remain stalled today. The ground is so wet that even if you don’t see the standing water, it squishes underfoot.

Uggh now I have that song still stuck in my head! 😜 Make it a great day and a great Monday out there.
