Ellis County Women in Business is a network of over 400 dynamic,
professional Ellis County women achieving their business goals through
support, inspiration, and mentoring while serving a mission to give back to
the community. We promote the acceptance and success of women in
business while we give back to our community like only women can! Proceeds from all fundraising supports young ladies o

80% - Purchase animals at Ellis County Youth Expo auction
20% - Scholarships awarded to Ellis County high school seniors pursuing a
CTE (Career and Technical Education) after high school graduation. How do we raise money?
~Pin Program:
Every year we sell a collectible pin based on the animal(s) we
plan to purchase at the Ellis County Youth Expo auction. You may purchase a YEARLY pin for $100 to support our
mission.

~Friends of EWCIB Donations:
We welcome individuals and businesses to support our
mission with monetary donations.

~Sponsorships :
Throughout the year, we host networking and fundraising
events throughout Ellis County. We are looking for sponsors
to provide cash or in-kind donations. We have social networking events several times per year and typically do a raffle or some type of fundraiser. Please contact us to find
out more about sponsorship opportunities. Your pin purchase will get your name
added to our annual email roster to keep you updated on events. Ways to Pay:

About Our Organization

Ellis County Women in Business is a network of over 700 dynamic, professional Ellis County women achieving their business goals, through support, inspiration and mentoring while serving a mission to give back to the community.

Founded in 2018, the original committee consisted of 70 business women who donated a combined $7,000 in ONE week! There was an additional $6,000 raised in order to provide support and scholarships to young women competing in the 2018 Ellis County Fair.

In our second year, we raised over $16,000! We bought goats and supported female youth in areas of agriculture and other CTE programs. Our scholarships are based on an application and interview process.

Other fundraisers that have been hosted by the Ellis County Women In Business (ECWIB) have been “Blingo Nights”, “Havana Nights NYE Bash” supporting The United Way, and other affinity programs. The largest fundraiser to date is our “Pin” program. Anyone wanting to support our group can purchase a “pin” for $100. In exchange, the donor receives a collectable pin and is invited to participate in all aspects of the group.
