Friends of Northaven Trail The Northaven Trail (NHT) is a commuter and recreational bike and hike trail in Dallas, Texas.

The Northaven Trail (NHT) is a commuter and recreational bike and hike trail built by the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. The trail runs through the Oncor power line easement that is between Northaven road and Royal Lane. The trail's master plan runs from Central Expressway to Denton Drive with plans to connect to the White Rock Creek Trail on the east and Irving's Campion Trail on the west. There will also be connections to DART's Forest Lane Station and Walnut Hill / Denton Station. Friends of the Northaven Trail is a volunteer organization for the support, maintenance and beautification of the Northaven Trail.

Ewe Again? is a free little game from Northaven TAILS. You're the shepherd: guide the goats and sheep through four grazing areas and have everyone in the pen before sundown. It plays on your phone or computer.

Along the way you'll pass signs for the neighbors and businesses who sponsored a grazing area this season. Tap one to send your thanks.

Working dogs Emma and Lucy have been hard at work today herding the 450 🐐and 200 🐑. They definitely deserved a nice spa break at mid day!

The dogs work the herd back and forth in the meadow after native Texas Blackland Prairie wildflower seeds are put down so that we get better seed to soil contact. This helps get a better germination rate for the seeds and a better display next year!
