Mission Maasai We partner with Maasai leaders to meet physical and spiritual needs in the community

We partner with Maasai leaders to meet physical and spiritual needs in Southern Kenya, through a strategy of helping with food, water, healthcare, and infrastructure, and by providing resources to plant churches, train pastors, and educate children.

There are some faces you know you’ll never forget.

These kids filled our week with laughter, singing, dancing, games, hugs and more joy than we could have imagined.

We came to Kenya to spend a week with them for VBS, but somewhere along the way, they reminded us just how much joy can be found in the simplest things.

A few of the faces that made this week so special. ❤️

Duncan is up for Athlete of the Week in Tennessee! 🎉 Duncan is one of our sponsored high schoolers from Kenya that attends school here in America.

Duncan is an incredibly talented cross-country athlete, and we couldn’t be more proud to cheer him on! Now we need YOUR help! 🙌🏼

We’ve been home from Kenya for a while now, but I don’t think we ever really left. 💗

There are some weeks that are hard to put into words while you’re in them. Our week with our Maasai family for VBS was one of those weeks.

So over the next few weeks, we’re going to share a little more of what we experienced — the kids, the laughter, the worship, the hard things, the beautiful things, and the people who make Mission Maasai so special.

Consider this our very delayed Kenya recap. ❤️

Fabulous Friday from Hope Shamba Farm! 🌿🥬

Feeling grateful as we watch this season’s beautiful kale and cabbage flourish. Thankful for God’s provision and for everyone who helps make this work possible. 💚

Ministry happens because people say yes. ❤️

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and love to pack Christmas shoeboxes for the children of Empukani, Kenya. We are so grateful for every helping hand and every heart that showed up to serve.

We couldn’t do this without you! 🎁🇰🇪

💧🙌 PRAISE GOD FOR LIFE-GIVING WATER! 🙌💧

We are so grateful to share that the generator and pump at the Empukani water well have been replaced! 🎉

The original pump faithfully served the community for 10 years, but after struggling mechanically for some time, it finally stopped working.

This well provides life-giving water to our church, school, clinic, and seminary—and serves families throughout the surrounding community. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for our faithful donors who made this much-needed replacement possible. Your generosity is providing more than water… it is bringing life, hope, and blessing to the Empukani community! 🌍💧❤️

Thank you for helping make this possible! 🙏🏽
