Here at Devil Dog Nation our mission is simple, help veterans before life beats them down and their demons have a chance to get a foot hold. Devil Dog Nation is a boots on the ground organization. Our local chapters are in over 20 cities and when we are alerted of a veteran in crisis, we act. We intervene with our network, our manpower, and if need be, with financial intervention. Prayers and likes are important, but when someone prays, they are asking for someone like us. We answer.
Our intent is to intervene on behalf of Marines, FMF Corpsman, and all veterans(as our budget allows) that are struggling with their demons and financial life crisis. We take a proactive approach to su***de intervention and have found that if we can reduce/eliminate the factors that lead to a veteran giving up, we greatly reduce the possibility of the veteran reaching a point of giving up hope. We do this by helping veterans struggling with day to day life crisis such as being delinquent on bills, assisting with repairs, and putting groceries in their fridge, just to name a few.
