Does a language have to be spoken to be heard?
Not always.
Language can be expressed through signs, through a look, a smile, or a simple movement. It doesn’t always need a voice to speak about the things that matter most — love, hope, emotions, and the desire to be understood.

Because being heard isn’t always about hearing words.
Sometimes, it’s about paying attention. Understanding. Accepting. Simply being there. ❤️

September 23 is the International Day of Sign Languages.

We had the privilege of visiting a kindergarten for deaf children, where 70 beautiful children took part in a special program filled with joy, laughter, and warm moments. And at the end, each child received a small gift. 🎁

But as we left, we realized that we had received something even more precious — a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful things can be said without a single word.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:14

May our love be seen not only in what we say, but in what we do.
May we learn to notice, understand, and embrace those who communicate differently.
And may every person feel:
I am seen.
I am understood.
I matter.
Let’s learn to hear one another.
Even without words

We need to learn to hear the needs of people. They are all around us, every single day.

Sometimes it’s not enough to simply see a problem. We are called to step into it — and not walk away.
To stay.
To listen.
To support.
To help.

How important it is to see a need and have a heart that says, “I will go. I will help.”

Thank God for the opportunity to serve. For the privilege of seeing those others may overlook. For the chance to bring hope into places where hope seems almost gone.

Sometimes, to encounter God, we have to go down into the places of human need — where there is hunger, lack, poverty, rejection… where someone’s life has become a place of darkness and desperation.

That is where our faith becomes more than words.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:40

Lord, give us eyes to see.
Ears to hear.
Hearts to feel.
And hands ready to help.

May our love for God always lead us to love people. ❤️

What a truly wonderful and blessed time we had in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in the heart of Central Asia! 🇰🇬❤️

We had the incredible privilege of being part of the Youth Conference SOZO, where we were able to serve 75 Deaf and CODA young people. What a joy it was to see hearts coming together, friendships growing, and lives being encouraged in the presence of our Lord.

Every day was filled with precious fellowship, heartfelt worship, teaching, laughter, and moments that we will carry in our hearts for a long time. We shared new methods of evangelism, explored creative ways to reach more people with the Gospel, and were reminded once again that God can use every one of us to make a difference.

Seeing the passion and hunger of these young people for Jesus was deeply moving. 🙏 It was more than just a conference—it was a beautiful week of faith, unity, encouragement, and serving together for the Kingdom of God.

We are so grateful for every person we met, every conversation we shared, every prayer we prayed, and every moment God allowed us to experience. ❤️

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1

What a blessed week! We came to serve, but we left feeling so incredibly blessed ourselves. To God be all the glory! 🙌❤️

God calls us to demonstrate love not only with our words, but also through our actions. When we open our hearts to those in need, we become channels of His care and mercy.

“Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in deed and in truth.”
1 John 3:18 (ESV)

We are grateful to everyone who supports this ministry through prayers, generosity, and personal involvement. May the Lord bless each person who takes part in these acts of kindness, for Christ’s love is most clearly seen through our actions. ❤️

Every day brings new progress at the Deaf Daycare, and our hearts are filled with joy! 💚

We’ve been serving here all week, working together to improve this special place. With every tool used, every task completed, and every small step forward, we can already see the transformation.

Our next step is laying the artificial grass, and we can’t wait to see it all come together. We know that when the children return, they’ll have a beautiful, safe space to play, laugh, and make precious memories.

Thank you to everyone who is helping make this possible. Together, we’re creating more than a playground—we’re creating a place where children can feel loved, valued, and cared for. We can’t wait to see their smiles! 💙

It was heartbreaking to see so many people living in such difficult conditions. Some are completely dependent on the kindness of others for even their most basic needs.

The Bible teaches us to care for those who cannot care for themselves. Today, God provided diapers for those who desperately needed them. They are very expensive, but through His faithfulness, they were made available. What may seem like a simple gift can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to a family.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

Please keep these precious people and their families in your prayers. Pray that God will meet their physical needs, strengthen their caregivers, bring comfort to those who are suffering, and remind them that they are deeply loved and never forgotten by Him.

God continues to open doors for our family to serve alongside Deaf believers around the world, and we are excited to share an opportunity coming this August.

From August 16–22, we will travel to Kyrgyzstan to partner with Deaf leaders and ministries already serving there. During our time in Kyrgyzstan, we will participate in a gathering of approximately 50 Deaf young adults, followed by a smaller gathering of Deaf leaders from across the region. Together, we will share the Gospel, facilitate disciple-making workshops, encourage local leaders, and help strengthen connections among Deaf believers throughout Central Asia.

What excites us most is that this ministry is not about doing work for the Deaf community—it is about serving with the Deaf community. We believe God is raising up Deaf leaders to reach Deaf people, and we are honored to come alongside what He is already doing.

To make this ministry effort possible, The Woodall Foundation is partnering with Renew Outreach to raise $2,000. These funds will help send two missionaries to the Deaf from Moldova to Kyrgyzstan, where we will encourage, equip, and connect Deaf leaders from across Central Asia. Together, we have the opportunity to strengthen Deaf-led disciple-making movements and share the hope of Christ with communities throughout the region.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us? Whether through prayer, financial support, or both, your partnership helps make it possible for Deaf leaders to be equipped, encouraged, and connected across Central Asia. All gifts are tax-deductible through The Woodall Foundation.

Recently, Daniel accepted a new role with Renew Outreach as Deaf Movements Coordinator. His work focuses on building relationships and connecting Deaf communities with Gospel-centered tools and resources that help make disciples and strengthen Deaf-led movements around the world. Becky has also joined the administrative side of this work, helping coordinate projects, communications, and ministry efforts that support these growing Deaf-led movements.

God has truly blessed us with the incredible opportunity to build a playground for the deaf children at our daycare. Seeing their smiles, laughter, and excitement as they played each day filled our hearts with joy. It became a special place where they could have fun, make memories, and simply enjoy being children.

Over time, however, the rain and weather have taken their toll. The ground around the playground has been damaged, creating uneven and unsafe areas. As the children run and play, they often fall, and what was once a place of carefree joy has become a place where injuries are becoming a concern.

Our hearts are burdened because these precious children deserve a safe, beautiful place to play. We are believing God for a complete renovation of the playground—adding new ground material, installing artificial grass for safety, painting the fence, and restoring the entire area so it can once again be a joyful and welcoming space for every child.

We are so grateful for all the ways God has already provided. Time and again, He has shown His faithfulness through the generosity, prayers, and support of so many people. Yet there is still more that is needed to complete this project.

Please join us in prayer that God will provide every resource, every helping hand, and every financial need required to make this renovation possible. Your prayers mean so much to us and to these children.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued love, support, and prayers. May God bless you abundantly for standing with us as we work to create a safe and joyful place for these precious children to play and grow.
