Sunday Suppers to connect our community to local refugee families to share culture & communion in Dallas, Tx.

All proceeds go directly to the family to help in their resettlement journey. Sunday Supper Foundation was started in 2016 by co-founders Olga Pope and Kim Nguyen as a way to connect our community to local refugee families in order to share culture and communion in our city of Dallas, TX. Each supper will feature authentic food from the home country of our families. All proceeds from tickets will go directly to the family. Friends, we are asking for your support to help two families originally from Venezuela who are now living in Dallas.

The first is a family of 3, a mother and 2 kids. The mother is battling ovarian cancer and will have surgery on August 27. Due to her illness she is unable to work (and unable to cook for Sunday Supper).

The second family is a mom with three kids, who has survived domestic abuse and is working hard to provide a stable life here for her children. Due to no fault of her own, she recently lost her job. We hope to have her cook for our September Sunday Supper.

Both of these families legally entered the USA and have no criminal history.

We are hoping to raise $7,000 to help these families pay their September rent and bills.
