Have you read TRTA's 2027 Legislative Priorities?

523,000 TRS retirees. One hard truth: the average annuity check is 30% behind inflation — and Texas has no automatic COLA. That means it's on us to make the case.

Our 2027 Legislative Priorities spell out exactly what lawmakers need to do. We need every retiree standing behind them.

👉 Read it. Share it with a candidate. Tag a retiree who needs to see this: www.trta.org/legislative-priorities

What a wonderful SW-DARSE meeting today! 🍎📚

We were honored to welcome Dr. Goree, Duncanville ISD Superintendent, and Darrian Miller, Director of Early Childhood, as our guest speakers.

Both shared valuable insights about Duncanville ISD and the valuable work being done to support our students, educators, and families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first meeting of the year a great success!

We are Retired, Inspired, and Still Serving! 🇺🇸
