North Texas Giving Day HAS ARRIVED!! We wanted to share some SUCCESS stories from a couple of our recent Maximum Chances kiddos.
MARCEL: When he first started, he exhibited severely limited language skills, had difficulty following verbal directions, and was unable to identify any letters or numbers. Additionally, Marcel struggled with poor fine and gross motor skills. Through consistent intervention and individualized support, Marcel gradually made significant progress in each area of concern. Over time, he began to respond to simple instructions and showed improvement in recognizing basic letters and numbers. His fine and gross motor abilities also improved noticeably. By the time Marcel graduated from Journey Learning Center, he was able to read, follow directions, and remain seated during educational activities and meals. Furthermore, he tested within the average range on visual moto
ADAM: When Adam first arrived, he struggled significantly with emotional regulation. Over the course of his enrollment, he became much more capable of expressing his emotions and understanding strategies for self-regulation. Initially, playing and sharing with others was challenging for Adam. Now, he participates easily in group play and is able to share with peers without difficulty. Adam has achieved full recognition of all upper and lower case letters, as well as their corresponding sounds. He can read complex stories and accurately describe the beginning, middle, and end of each story. Adam is now independent with all age-appropriate basic life skills, demonstrating growth in both his personal and academic development.
We are truly appreciative of all of the support we've received over the years, and North Texas Giving Day plays such a vital role for us! If you know someone who might be interested in donating today, please share our link with them. A thousand thanks for your support!
