1 in 4 women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. Abuse isn’t always physical. It can also involve emotional or verbal abuse, sexual abuse, financial control, intimidation, or isolation from friends and family.

We’re honored to share that our CEO and Founder, Janet Collinsworth, will be joining The Dallas Morning News for an upcoming panel discussion on The Future of Collin County in Plano on Tuesday, September 29.

As Collin County continues to grow, conversations about how we build strong, inclusive, and thriving communities are more important than ever.

As Collin County organizations, Agape Resource Assistance Center and Jericho Village are deeply connected to the communities we serve. Through our work providing housing, supportive services, and pathways toward long-term stability, we see firsthand both the challenges families face and the importance of creating thoughtful, sustainable solutions for our growing region.

Janet will bring that perspective to the conversation, drawing from her experience building Jericho Village as an innovative model for attainable housing and supporting families through Agape.

We’re grateful to The Dallas Morning News for bringing local leaders together to explore the future of Collin County and for including Janet in this important conversation.
