Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels was born out of a passion to give the voiceless a voice HRRA services Collin and Dallas counties in Texas.

Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels (HRRA) is a 501c3 Non-Profit animal tracking and trapping service. It was born out of my passion to give the voiceless strays a voice and to reunite missing pets with their family. After years of freelancing in the trapping world, the demand has dramatically increased as people realize a service like this exists. Outside areas of North Texas will be considered based on case load. HRRA provides tracking of potential sightings, mapping analysis of the area lost, surveillance with game cameras, live cameras and feeding stations. In addition, capture/trapping techniques are used once they are approaching the feeding station on a regular basis. Each dog is different so we work to condition them to get past their fears and analyze a way to capture them safely and securely. We also aim to help educate the community about dog behavior and how it changes when a dog goes into "Fight or Flight" mode. How we as humans react can make all the difference in saving an animals life.

We’re regrouping for the boy near I-30 and Ferguson. 💔

He’s been out there a very long time, with no human touch since. We’ve spent several nights waiting with the trap—once until 7 a.m. and another night until 3 a.m.—but he never appeared.
Last night, he finally showed up. He took one look at our setup, gave us the paw, and said, “Yeah, I’m not going in there.” He didn’t even sniff the trap. 😅

So we’re working on a different approach to bring him in safely. He may have won last night, but we’re not giving up on him. Your donations help us keep showing up for dogs like him, no matter how many late nights it takes. 🐾

🚨 RESCUE & FOSTER NEEDED — NORTH DALLAS 🚨

Sweet and loving but scared

We first received a call Friday about a small dog running loose in North Dallas with an injured paw. Another call came in yesterday, and last night, we were finally able to safely hand capture him in a backyard a few caring neighbors were able to contain him in.

This adorable little guy appears to be a small Beagle/Terrier mix, weighs approximately 25 pounds, and is estimated to be around 1½–2 years old. He is scared and unsure right now—but underneath that fear is the absolute sweetest boy. He gave me kisses and rode beside me on the center console as though that had always been his special seat. ❤️

Before his capture, someone had expressed interest in taking him. Unfortunately, now that he is safe, those plans are no longer certain. Sometimes commitments change once a dog is captured, which is why we always need a dependable backup plan.

Hope’s Rescue and Recovery Angels is not an intake rescue, so we urgently need a reputable rescue and committed foster to step forward for this precious little guy. He deserves somewhere safe to decompress, receive care for his injured paw, and learn that he doesn’t have to be afraid anymore.

Chance was one of the Dallas Five we captured near I-35 and Northwest Highway. When we found him, he was already missing his back right paw and needed a chance at something better.

And look at him now. 🥹❤️

Chance is thriving. He’s a sweet, cuddly 69-pound boy who loves other dogs when properly introduced, and he’s now available for adoption through Ruff Road Revival .
