Last week, this incredible family finalized their adoption surrounded by an overflowing courtroom filled with friends, family, and their church community cheering them on and celebrating alongside them.

Their support was a powerful reflection of James 1:27 — caring for children and families in meaningful, life-changing ways.

What a special evening celebrating the incredible women making an impact in our community at the Rose Awards 🌹💙

A HUGE thank you to students in Mrs. Wolverton and Mrs. Camp’s fifth grade homerooms for choosing TBHC for your project! Students, you are choosing to provide HOPE for children in your community!

As part of their Life Habits lessons, students in Mrs. Wolverton and Mrs. Camp’s fifth grade homerooms created a service project to support children in foster care. After brainstorming ideas, the students voted to partner with TBHC in Waxahachie to collect donations for children in need.

Mrs. Miller, an LSRO parent, and Mr. Arthur from TBHC visited to accept the donations and share how the students are helping “light the path” for others. Each class received a certificate and flashlight to remind them that their kindness can make a difference.

We are so proud of these students for showing compassion and social awareness while making an impact in the lives of others!
