🐯 Exciting news from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!
The park just welcomed its first tiger cubs in 12 years — a rare brother-sister pair of white Bengal tigers!
• Baldr (male): Royal White Bengal with bold black stripes & sriking blue eyes
• Nalani (female): Snow White Bengal, almost entirely white with faint stripes & striking blue eyes

The park is committed to wildlife education and conservation. In 2025 alone, they donated nearly $100K to animal rescues and orgs.

🎢 What an incredible way to kick off the season!

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for opening day of California's Great America’s 50th season of operation! We had an amazing time starting the day with a ride on Gold Striker before making our way around the park and soaking in everything opening day had to offer.

It was so great to see so many of you come out for our 'Walk Through Time'—nothing beats spending the day with fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion for coasters!

🚨 Reminder: Start off the 2026 season with an informal meetup! 🎢

Join us this Saturday for a fun, laid-back day at California’s Great America!

📍 Where: California’s Great America (Santa Clara, CA)
🗓️ When: Saturday, March 28, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:30 AM (meetup), entering at 9:45 AM

We’ll meet at the flagpole outside the gates, then head in together and kick things off with an informal takeover of GoldStriker (aiming for first ride of the season 👀🔥).

After that, we’ll hit all the major coasters in reverse order after our initial ride on Gold Striker:
GoldStriker → Demon → Grizzly → Patriot → Flight Deck → Psycho Mouse → RailBlazer (ending strong 💪)

🐯 New arrivals at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!

A rare brother and sister pair of Bengal tiger cubs are making their debut April 4—the first in over 12 years 👀

Both are white tigers (only ~1 in 10,000 births), making them incredibly unique and a powerful symbol for conservation.

🎢 Start the 2026 coaster season with ACENorCal!

Join us for A Walk Through Time, an informal meetup at California's Great America on March 28 at 9:30 AM!

We’ll meet at the flagpole outside the gates before heading in for a first ride of the season attempt on Gold Striker! Then we’ll take a journey through the park’s major coasters in reverse order, ending the day on RailBlazer!

🎢 Coaster lineup:

🎢 Big news from California's Great America!

The park opens for the 2026 season on March 28, kicking off its 50th season of thrills since opening in 1976. Guests on opening day can pick up a limited 50th anniversary commemorative button while supplies last and watch a special opening ceremony at the iconic Carousel Columbia with the Peanuts Gang.

The season will also bring back classic park music, the return of South Bay Shores on May 23, and fireworks on May 24, July 4, and Sept. 6.

This past weekend was the annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk 🥣🌊

Every year, local restaurants and chefs come together to compete for the title of best clam chowder. Guests get to walk around, sample different chowders, and vote for their favorites. There’s usually a mix of classic New England-style chowder and some creative twists too.
