Positive information coming out from the newly released CDC report showing the rate of emergency department (ED) visits for contact sports-related traumatic brain injuries (TBI) among children decreased by 32% between 2012 to 2018! The change is credited towards decreased participation in tackle football, implementation of contact limitations, and use of tackling techniques to reduce concussions. Check it out!
