For City Councilman May 5th.

Anna Art Council officially and profoundly supports Nathan Bryan, husband of Lynn Bryan, for City Council May 5, 2025.

Politics matter. If it wasn't apparent in the Presidential election, then you were somehow on another planet. Anna politics also matter, especially for the future Art District of Anna.

It is the City Council who will enable laws allowing public art and fine arts funding. Funds, Nathan Bryan will support our community in locating.

It is City Council that decides how grants are spent and what portion focuses on the Arts of Anna. Grants, Nathan Bryan will support our art community in locating.

Nathan Bryan and Lynn Bryan are why our City has a library and with his reelection, is determined to help create a vibrant arts community that we will all benefit from. He understands uniquely how to navigate grants, permits, laws, and procedures; a wisdom, experience, and love for Anna, only he has.

Please help us ensure Nathan Bryan return to City Council, May 5th, where he belongs, and let us find a supporter who gets things done for the Arts of Anna.

In our first edition Anna's Finest Art Magazine we will sit down with Nathan Bryan and talk about his family, his business, his 6 Years in City Council, and the strength of husband with a wife fighting cancer. We are asking every business owner and every community member to gather around and support Anna Art Council in association with WarPaint Project: to help local artists with materials for the Chamber of Commerce Fundraising Auction on March 1st which will benefit the tuition needs for two Anna high school students.

Anna Art Council founder, Aubre Michelle Murphy gathered over 40 local artists and asked they submit artwork for the auction- asking they use gallery quality canvas but several artists have said they don't have the materials and cannot afford to order them.

We would like to offer area artists to pick up a canvas, paint, and brushes, of gallery quality at no cost, so every artist no matter their age can participate. Imagine seeing 30-40 paintings by local artists who are helping raise tuition?! It's too beautiful and important to pass up the opportunity to try.

Aubre Michelle Murphy and husband Pour-House Art by JMStone

This is one of over 400 Collaboration Paintings by The WarPaint Project: Custom Artwork For Warriors donated to families fighting cancer by Founders, and Anna Art Council members, Aubre' and Joseph, of Anna.

He is an acrylic pouring artist, she uses a brush, together they share the world of art- On the same canvas-a5 the same TIME, simultaneously creating art, for cancer's bravest kids, and mothers.

Their client, a child just 8 months old, diagnosed at birth with a rare blood disorder forced to begin dialysis. Ayla's mom described her fattest little baby, called her a baby elephant Aubre's favorite painting subject. Katie Lynn described Ayla's pink cheeks, a tuft of hair on top of her head, and rolls of baby fat. Mom talked about lucky stars, and full moon, and a baby that fell From Heaven.

Aubre's claim to art, according to her, is not her ability to paint-which she downplays constantly as, "anyone can do,"- but to design an image that tells a story, is her favorite part. In this painting, Aubre' creates a Baby Ayla-phant' creating a world for herself, shooting a galaxy from her trunk. Joseph created the galaxy using acrylic pouring techniques that looks like a cup of paint poured onto a canvas.

The story is adorable, the meaning behind it is another world, and to think, they do this for free. Every painting, every nomination, for all of six years now, done at no cost to their Warriors, or their families. Tbey even pay for shipping. They also include another two dozen gifts to encourage artists of other mediums to donate too. When KatieLynn opened her baby's painting, she also found a Jornal set, handmade Warrior pendant necklace, spiritual encouragement cards, friendship bracelets made by Olivia Warrior of Autism.

Call for Artists

In support of Anna High School, we are joining the Chamber of Commerce to help raise money for scholarships for two local students. We are asking Anna Art Council Artists to pull together an original artwork, handmade craft, to submit into their charity auction on March 1st.

Over 300 people will be in attendance, this is your opportunity to be discovered, but an opportunity for Anna Arr Coucil to show your remarkable talent.

We have only bragged, and boasted, and told everyone for the last year, Anna's Got Talent. We've advocated for funding, attended City Hall meetings, and spent every day to represent Anna's first, and only, Arts initiatives.
