The dealine to make lunch reservations for the ELA Bazaar will close today. The best way to make a reservation is by emailing the club at [email protected]. The club has limited staff at this time to anwer the phone, so it is best to email.

If you can't come for lunch, please stop by and shop anytime between 10:00 and 2:00.

See everyone on November 1. If you were a member last year, you will have a vote to donate the money that is in the ELA account and the money made at the Holiday Bazaar to the Community Garden Kitchen.

The ELA bank account will be closed and this will be the last year of the ELA Holiday Bazaar.

Dear friends,
An email was sent out last month inviting members to attend a meeting to discuss the future of the Eldorado Ladies Association. A group of us met last week to brainstorm ideas on how we can grow membership and continue having luncheons at Eldorado Country Club.

After much discussion, sharing ideas, and members offering to help, it came down to the fact that we still need someone to oversee the association. The group made the decision to wait until the end of the year to see if anyone shows an interest in this position. If not, we will disband the group in December and donate the remaining funds to a charity.

Thank you to all the ladies that came to the meeting and those that could not make the meeting but offered their suggestions.

I am so sorry to miss, not only our meeting today, but I’m further disappointed to miss our speaker, Mr. Jason Hernandez, who has an amazing, educational and inspirational story to share with us and someone who is putting himself forward to not only make amends but to help others make better choices that impact everyone. I hope you all enjoy!

As mentioned, I will not be able to make the meeting today but it's an important meeting and I feel like you all should hear from me in person, hopefully next month, but in the meantime I felt it necessary to report where we are as a club. As you have heard me beg/announce at every meeting we need to put together a new slate of officers for next year. As of today, I do not have a slate to present to you. I have several wonderful souls that have stated that they are happy to help with certain things but I do not have a slate to present for the executive board member positions. The past few years there have been a handful of us that have been running the club and several of us have reached a point/need to move on, not that we don't love you all but our schedules are not allowing the time necessary for us to focus on the club the way we would like. That is leaving the club basically with all positions open and available.

So where do we sit? That is up to you as a club. Do you see a need for this club to continue? Maybe we have reached a moment whereby we agree we have had some lovely lunches, programs, style shows and bazaars together but maybe disbanding is now upon us? That being said, maybe we have a few ladies that can help organize style shows and bazaars 3-4 times a year rather than continue the club in its current format?

We need to hear from you and ask that you click this link to complete the feedback form so we can report what we as a club are thinking at our last meeting of the year in May (Chico Style show). Thank you in advance for your time!
