Hey pantry peeps. Could use your help. We need the following items
- cereal
- oatmeal
- canned fruits
- mac and cheese
- canned beans
- soups
- canned meats

You can drop off at the pantry when open or put in the large box outside the office.

Am looking for volunteers to help out at the pantry. If you or you have a group that would interested, please email [email protected] and include your name & phone # and someone will email/text/call you.

Here's the need:
Thursdays - from 10:45 - 12:00 - We get a box truck of food (usually 4-6 pallets of food) that need to be sorted and put into storage. Need to be able to lift 20-30 pounds.

Most Tuesdays - from 5:45 - 8:00 - We need volunteers to help work at the pantry. It's not difficult and can be a lot of fun. We have a variety of jobs including just talking to the clients that come through.

Some Thursdays - from 5:45 - 8:00 - We need volunteers to help work at the pantry. It's not difficult and can be a lot of fun. We have a variety of jobs including just talking to the clients that come through.

Most Saturdays - from 9:45-12:15 - We need volunteers to help work the pantry. It's not difficult and can be a lot of fun. We have a variety of jobs including just talking to the clients that come through.

For those that live in Rowlett

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION

DART

The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer a great program for City of Rowlett Senior Citizens 60 years and older! We have partnered with DART to provide day pass vouchers valid for all DART transportation.
To receive these passes, proof of Rowlett residency is required. Passes are available at the Rowlett Community Centre, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM. You are allowed a maximum of 5 passes per week, and up to 15 passes per month. You do not have to be a member of the Rowlett Community Centre to participate.

Hey Pantry peeps. If you have the means Tom Thumb has Ramen for 9 cents each and Chex and Captain Crunch cereal for $1.49. The pantry can use both.

Also we can use your clean grocery bags.

You can drop off in the box outside the main office or to one of the workers when we are open.
