The pantry will be open tonight (Tues 12/23) from 6-8 pm and then will be closed through the holidays.
The pantry will reopen on Saturday January 3.

Apparently there has been some confusion about WalMart this Saturday in that some people are thinking WalMart is doing a Food Distribution and that people need to sign up to GET food.

To clarify, WalMart is hosting a food collection and NOT a food distribution. We are looking for volunteers to help with collecting food.

The Rowlett WalMart SuperCenter is doing a FoodDrive for Hope in Hand Food Pantry this Saturday (Nov 22) from 1 PM - 4 PM. You'll find our tables outside near the grocery entrance. Please consider stopping by with a donation or making a purchase and donating!!!

We have a unique opportunity where we need your help.
The Rowlett WalMart SuperCenter is doing a food drive for our pantry next Saturday (Nov 22) from 1-4.
We need volunteers to help collect food there and some trucks to haul food back to the pantry.
We have put together a sign up genius for volunteers for each hour.

Hey everyone, you have been a big help in the past to the Hope in Hand Food Pantry.
We need your help again. With SNAP benefits going away we are seeing a surge in clients. We need
Mac & Cheese
Canned Soups
Canned meats
Dry potato products
Hamburger helper
Pet food
Hygiene products
We will also take any other food products
In addition we could use your clean bags for putting food in.

All items can be brought to the pantry during pantry hours OR you can put non-perishable items in the large storage box outside the office at the FCC Rowlett church.
