Residents in the Dallas neighborhood of Kleberg say the city isn't responding to their calls to improve its streets and other infrastructure.

Come out and help us celebrate the naming of a new park in District 8 at 12700 Kleberg Road. Many people have been fighting for a park & trail in the Kleberg area for 18 years. Before Kleberg Neighborhood Association & Crime Watch, there was Thomas Hendricks who founded the Kleberg Community Development Corporation, before him there was Bill Freeman and Trustee Nancy Bingham who have been long time residents and activists in this area. Bill Freeman has been an active participant in various boards and commissions within Dallas County. Notably, he serves on the Dallas County Trail and Preserve Program Board, which focuses on recommending, promoting, and facilitating the acquisition of land to meet the open space needs of Dallas County residents. His long-standing commitment to Parks & Trails and his unwavering dedication is the reason why we wanting to name the park the William Freeman Park. So come join us and have some fun with the Neighbors in the Kleberg area of District 8.
