Altrusa International of S W Dallas County Inc. Altrusa SW Dallas County was chartered on November 5, 1993. Altrusa SWDC holds a monthly meetings the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Members live and serve throughout the SW Dallas County, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Cedar Hill,. Altrusa SW Dallas County (Altrusa SWDC) was chartered November 5, 1993, and is one of several clubs located in the great State of Texas, which comprises District Nine of Altrusa International., Inc. Our club meetings include dinner coordinated by our Hospitality Committee, which includes a mai

n course entree, sides, salad, dessert and beverage. Members live throughout the SW Dallas County & northern Ellis County areas including Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Grand Prairie, Lancaster, Oak Cliff, Midlothian, Ovilla and Waxahachie. Most service projects take place in these communities and include literacy and reading programs. The club visits with residents at DeSoto Nursing Home, volunteers at Lancaster Community Food Pantry, supporting first responders, volunteering at school events, and partnering with other organizations to feed the homeless and prepare holiday baskets for needy families. Altrusa SWDC stays busy with community projects and we would love to have you join our team.
