Please add one of our past recipients to your prayer list….
This was posted by her husband…..
I would like to be more clear on what is going on and be more specific with prayer. For my friends that have known very little about Tracey, she has glioblastoma stage IV cancer. I’ll let you look it up. Tracey’s original tumor has been stable for almost 8 years, which is a miracle. She has been on Avastin. 2 years ago, another tumor developed. This tumor seemed to be stable until recently. Tracey gradually lost the ability to walk. The tumor is progressively growing and has caused brain swelling. This swelling is treated with steroids. All treatment and surgeries have been exhausted. There is no timeline on this. Yes, doctors give you an estimate, but if we went by doctors, 8 years would have never happened. We are all on God’s time.
Specific Prayers
I ask that you pray specifically for the tumor to be slow, that the brain swelling stop, for Tracey to have strength, for God to wrap his merciful healing arms around her and our family. I would also pray for hearts to not turn away from God. Pray for peace in the transitions from the hospital.
Today, take a minute to just be. Find a quiet place. Take in nature’s sounds, the touch of the sun on your face. Appreciate the breath you take, smells, find the beauty in some things you might see, ability to walk, and arms that hug. Take that moment to share your emotions or feelings. Walk the dog who will love you for making their day special. If you’re at Church, let that song touch your heart, sing it. It’s okay to lift your arms. Take tissues cause He has a way of pulling those out just like my momma.
