Hello Harvest Nation! Today we have our rescue and distribution at The Beacon. Lots of food for the day- volunteers come out at 4pm to help sort produce, fill baskets, load cars, clean up and eat dinner with us!
Anyone needing fresh produce: just drive up at 7pm to get some :)

¡Hola, nación de la cosecha! Hoy tenemos nuestro rescate y distribución en The Beacon. Mucha comida para el día: ¡los voluntarios salen a las 4 pm para ayudar a clasificar los productos agrícolas, llenar canastas, cargar autos, limpiar y cenar con nosotros!
Cualquiera que necesite productos frescos: solo conduzca a las 7 p.m. para obtener algunos :)

Tonight we honor our own founder and Executive Director
She has devoted her heart and soul to lead, develop and change the people of Dallas. From working in schools developing the young minds of tomorrow to the zero waste programs within the Harvest Project family and bringing nourishment to the people who need it most. She inspires everyone around her. A true leader and visionary. Thank you for everything you do!

What an incredible and inspiring group of women! We came together to create the warming center, Community Unity Bus, hot meal and water distribution and so much more. In four short days we gathered enough volunteers, partnered with over 30 organizations, and received enough donations to prepare 4500 hot meals delivering to our communities who need it the most! That’s just the beginning.

Be on the lookout during this month to see more inspiring women we work with.
