We didn’t just make beats. We built belief.

Over the past three weeks at the Latino Cultural Center Latino Cultural Center young creators discovered that their voice, their culture, and their creativity have power. Through music production, AI, songwriting, branding, and storytelling, they created work rooted in who they are, where they come from, and where they’re going.

But our impact doesn’t stop with the students.

We also invested in our young adult team, creating real workforce pathways where emerging creatives gained leadership experience, strengthened their craft, and learned what it means to mentor the next generation. That’s the heart of Let The Beat Build; developing creators, leaders, and changemakers at every level.

Every beat. Every breakthrough. Every young person reminded us that when you invest in people, they don’t just consume culture…

They create it.

From ideas to the spotlight. 🎧🔥

Young creators from Fit & Faithful Living stepped into the studio, built original music, and wrapped it all up with a live mini showcase. Shout out to every student who showed up, collaborated, and let their creativity speak.

Three days. Endless creativity. Pure energy.

We had an incredible time at Mercy Street Dallas introducing students to music production through Studio Playground. From building their very first beats to learning the fundamentals of producing music, these young creators showed up ready to learn, compete, and have fun.

We wrapped it all up with an unforgettable Beat Battle, and when we say the room came alive… it came alive. Every student brought their own style, confidence, and creativity, making for an epic finale that had everyone cheering.

Thank you Mercy Street for believing in the power of creativity and giving these students the opportunity to discover new talents. We can’t wait to do it again.

🎶 We’re almost two weeks into our summer program at the Latino Cultural Center, and the energy has been incredible.

From creating beats and discovering new creative skills to building confidence, collaboration, and self-expression, our students have been putting in work and making memories along the way. These are just a few of the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

The journey is bigger than music. It’s about finding your voice, telling your story, and realizing what’s possible when creativity meets opportunity.

🚀 6 Assemblies. 3 Weeks. 700+ Students Impacted.

Over the past few weeks, we brought BUILD IT Up to middle schools across Dallas ISD, using music, creativity, culture, and innovation to help students see themselves as creators, leaders, and future changemakers.

What we’re building is bigger than an assembly.

As we look ahead to the next school year, we’re excited to continue evolving BUILD IT Up into a new level of edutainment—where education, technology, storytelling, music, and student participation come together to create unforgettable experiences for both middle and high school students.

And yes… the Student vs. Teacher Beat Battle is still undefeated. 😂 Although students across multiple campuses came dangerously close to taking the crown. The competition got so intense that dance battles started breaking out and entire auditoriums were going crazy.

This is only the beginning. 🎵🔥

One of the happiest days of the school year, straight up. 🔥

Our LTBB Assembly Students vs. Teachers Beat Battle had the whole auditorium losing it. The teachers came in with confidence, swag, and zero fear… then took the W in front of all the 7th graders and even grabbed the mic to rap about it after. 😂🎤

But truthfully, everybody won that day.
Students got to see creativity, courage, teamwork, and pure joy happen in real time through music, culture, and connection.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do
