BigHope was founded by Oren O'Neal - a former NFL fullback and GE engineer - to put STEAM labs into South Dallas Title I schools. It's run by Kennedy Sleet, an astrophysicist.

This year one of our Hillcrest students earned a drone certification and moved directly into an industry role.

Today is North Texas Giving Day. We're funding the next lab, at MLK Academy, and we have until midnight. 💚

If your company matches employee giving, today is the day to use it. https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/organization/Bighope
