r asked. Hank required specialists, accommodations, and assistance at levels we didn’t recognize or even think to provide. How would
we find a special needs pediatrician? Where would we take our child with sensory issues for a haircut? Would our child ever get to go to a movie theater, a baseball game, or a family night of bowling? They say it takes a village to raise a child, but we felt like we had no village... no friends. We were wrong. As it turns out, Hank’s got a lot of friends. We just needed to find them. We discovered that we live in a giving and supportive community filled with individuals, business owners and service providers who are ready and willing to help. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” - Matthew 19:14
