📣 A few updates for Emelita’s Closet!
As Emelita’s Closet continues to grow, we’ve added a few guidelines to help everything run smoothly.
✅ Check in at the front desk.
* Sign in with your name, phone number, and whether you’re dropping off or picking up items.
* You’ll be given the key to the closet.
* When you’re finished, please return the key to the front desk and sign out.
🩷 Please be kind to the wonderful concierge team.
They are incredibly supportive, but they are not volunteers for Emelita’s Closet. Their primary responsibility is serving the residents of the community.
If you have several donations, they can point you to a cart, but there is not staff available to unload your vehicle. Thank you for showing them the same kindness they show everyone else.

Everyone involved with Emelita’s Closet is a volunteer, and we all work full-time jobs. We do this because we love serving our seniors and our community.
Items we especially need:
✔️ Rollator walkers (with a seat)
✔️ Clean, gently used wheelchairs in good condition
We have plenty of:
❌ Standard walkers
❌ Canes
If you need standard walkers or canes, please come get as many as you need—we have plenty!
Looking for something specific?
Need a hospital bed, Hoyer lift, or another medical item? Let us know! We’ll gladly reach out to our community to see if someone has one available.
Donation reminders:
Please donate only clean, gently used items in good working condition.
We cannot accept:
❌ Oxygen tanks
❌ Broken or damaged equipment
❌ Waterpiks or other personal hygiene items
If you’re unsure whether we can accept an item, just give us a call first.
