💚 SMALL HANDS. BIG IMPACTS. 🌎

Today, we want to take a moment to say something that is not said nearly often enough:

THANK YOU.

Over the years, Tavera Green Force was born from a simple idea: we do not have to be many to make a difference. With our families, our volunteers, and our little guardians, we learned that every bag of trash removed, every park cared for, and every person who chooses to get involved can create a much greater impact than we imagine.

We are deeply grateful to the City of Killeen, Texas - Government for always supporting our work, sharing our activities, and accompanying us throughout this journey. 💚

To Cen-Tex Sustainable Communities Partnership thank you for believing in our work, supporting us, and recognizing the value of what we do as a family and volunteer team.

To the City of Nolanville, Texas - City Government, thank you for opening your doors and allowing us to collaborate during your most recent cleanup event. We hope this will be one of many opportunities to continue leaving a positive mark. 🌱

Thank you also to every person who ever picked up a bag, put on a pair of gloves, and joined us to clean up, Camron Cochran, Johnita Miller.

To those who were never able to participate but saw us passing by and said:

“Good job!”

Perhaps they were just a few words to you, but to us, they were often the encouragement we needed to keep going. ❤️

Thank you to the media outlets that shared our story and activities. Every publication helped our message reach more people and showed that caring for the environment can also begin with a family, a few children, and some small hands.

💚 Un cierre lleno de gratitud, trabajo en equipo y esperanza. 💚

Hoy llevamos a cabo nuestra última jornada regular de limpieza en el Andy K. Wells Hike and Bike Trail. Fue una mañana muy especial en la que logramos recolectar 264.06 libras de basura en esta octava jornada del año, alcanzando un gran total anual de 1,867.95 libras recolectadas desde enero.

Tuvimos el enorme gusto de contar con la valiosa participación de Johnita Miller y su pequeña hija Elizabeth Scott, quienes se unieron de corazón a nuestra misión. Compartimos momentos de mucho trabajo y aprendizaje durante la limpieza —que se extendió hasta las 11:00 a.m.— y, en agradecimiento por su tiempo y apoyo, disfrutamos juntos de un merecido almuerzo al finalizar.

Es un momento lleno de emociones encontradas: sentimos nostalgia al cerrar esta etapa en Killeen, pero nos vamos con la satisfacción de ver cómo pequeñas acciones inspiran a más personas a generar un gran impacto.

Gracias infinitas a Johnita Miller, a Elizabeth Scott y a cada persona que nos acompañó, apoyó o compartió nuestra labor a lo largo de estos dos años.

🌱💚 Some chapters come to an end, but the lessons remain.

Sometimes, life takes us toward new places, new people, and new challenges. But we never forget where it all began.

We want to sincerely thank all the people, families, organizations, volunteers, and communities who have believed in Tavera Green Force, supported us, opened their doors to us, and allowed us to learn and grow throughout these years.

Every cleanup, every pound collected, every child who joined us to learn, and every person who chose to help has left a lasting mark on us.

We carry with us great memories, valuable lessons, and above all, the certainty that small hands can make a big impact. 🌎

Thank you for being part of our story.

What comes next will be a new chapter, but our mission remains. 🌱💚

🌱💚 Hay etapas que terminan, pero las enseñanzas permanecen.

A veces, el camino nos lleva hacia nuevos lugares, nuevas personas y nuevos retos. Pero nunca olvidamos dónde comenzó todo.

Queremos agradecer profundamente a todas las personas, familias, organizaciones, voluntarios y comunidades que durante estos años creyeron en Tavera Green Force, nos acompañaron, nos abrieron las puertas y nos permitieron aprender y crecer.

Cada jornada de limpieza, cada libra recolectada, cada niño que se acercó a aprender y cada persona que decidió ayudar dejó una huella en nosotros.

Nos llevamos grandes recuerdos, grandes aprendizajes y, sobre todo, la certeza de que pequeñas manos pueden generar grandes impactos. 🌎

Gracias por haber sido parte de nuestra historia.

Lo que viene será un nuevo capítulo, pero nuestra misión permanece. 🌱💚

We don’t do this work for the recognition, but for the future of our community. Still, receiving these honors as a CenTex Environmental Ambassador (2025) and YEA! Most Valuable Protector (2026), along with the Youngest Participant award in Nolanville, reminds us that our collective effort is being seen and valued.
