“I remember this day like yesterday…Tommy was in great need of a wheelchair…the wheels on his had worn down to the metal frame from being on the streets and they began cutting his hands… I reached out to a dear friend and her women’s club and we were able to provide Tommy with a new wheelchair…I will never forget when Earl and I drove up and helped him into his new chair…in silence we watched him wheel himself down the street in his new red wheelchair never to see him again…in silence we drove home, fighting back tears for the opportunity to help him somehow move forward…God bless you Tommy where ever you may be today🙏🏻” — Maria Luisa Fitzsimmons

Homeless outreach with Bring the Light Ministries is more than just handing out food to the hungry.

It’s giving your time and effort to prep and pack food with intention, love, and care.

It’s sharing your strength to put together or take down the equipment and pallets, or loading a box of supplies into the trunk of a families car so the kids don’t have to go to sleep starving for another night.

It’s using your voice to speak blessings, comfort, peace, and God’s word onto those who come for the support they want so badly not to need.

𖡊 Serving with Bring the Light Ministries opens you up to so many opportunities to shine your light in ways that truly drive impact and make a difference 𖡊

Mark the calendar 🗓️ there is an event to share and we would love for you all to join us!!!

When:
Next Wednesday September 30, 2026 everyone is free to Come and Go from 1pm to 7pm

Help us label 1250 boxes for Thanksgiving, maybe even take a few to fill, and help a family in need this Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Banks plans are officially underway, and we’re preparing for our biggest event of the year!

Our goal is to provide 1,250 frozen turkeys and Thanksgiving boxes filled with all the fixings, to families and communities in need across 5 locations throughout Dallas and we’d love for YOU to join us!

Perspective changes when you open your eyes to more of the world and what’s happening in it

We struggle at home, they struggle in the streets

We can’t afford fancy dinners or fast food, they can’t afford bread or water

It’s not a choice for everyone.

Sometimes health bills rack up, cancer is expensive not just deadly.

Sometimes the provider passes and they are too old, young, or disabled to earn for themselves.

Sometimes they come back from defending their country to nothing and a system that doesn’t support them properly.
