Thanks to all for your generous donations of water for our August Water Drive! We will do them quarterly, next one is scheduled for Saturday November 15, 2025. Huge thanks to Scott and his Brookshires store for donating a pallet of water! Please remember to shop with this generous retailer, they rock! Many thanks to Tim Reeve at Celina Junk for transporting the pallet to Fire Stations #1! He is always willing to help out our community! Stay safe and hydrated out there!

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a firefighter? The Citizen’s Fire Academy is your chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of the life and responsibilities of our firefighters in Celina! This immersive experience includes both informative presentations and hands-on activities that reflect the daily duties of our Fire Department.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in:
Forcible Entry
Nozzle Operations
Vehicle Extrication
CPR Certification
Aerial Ladder Climb
Air Transportation
Fire Ground Evolutions

Eligibility:
Must be 18 years or older
Must live or work in the City of Celina
A criminal background check will be conducted on all applicants

While this Academy is not a formal fire service training program, it offers invaluable insights into the Celina Fire Department's operations and the daily challenges our firefighters face.
