Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is the annual event where people can give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a more vital and vibrant community.

Alpha Omicron Sigma Charitable Foundation (AOSCF) is one of the nonprofits participating in the 2022 North Texas Giving Day. We are encouraging all active and inactive Sorors, affiliates, supporters, and friends to support our AOSCF charity on this day by donating a minimum of $25.00. Alpha Omicron Sigma Charitable Foundation (AOSCF) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was established to provide funding for a signature scholarship created to honor the memory of our beloved Soror Karla D. Fuller. Soror Fuller was an active member of Alpha Omicron Sigma (AOS) alumnae chapter and provided much love and encouragement to her chapter sorors. AOSCF also provides additional scholarships to deserving and exemplary Rhoers, college-bound high school seniors and continuing college students in the Dallas metroplex.

For nearly 100 years, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been an organization of action and investment. We invest in our communities, our youth, and our sisterhood. We believe that women united for a common goal and purpose can create infinite possibilities.

As a premier graduate chapter, the Alpha Omicron Sigma Chapter has positively influenced the greater Dallas metroplex since 1944 through our sisterhood, scholarship, and service. We are change agents for our surrounding communities and we seek to embrace like-minded women who can help further our mission.

Our chapter would like to thank the 325+ supporters across 22 states who helped us raise $12,604 plus additional monetary donations in just 4 days. We’ll be using our proceeds from this fundraiser and your monetary contributions to continue to make a difference in our community.

The Karla Fuller Esq. Scholarship is to honor Soror Fuller's legacy, memory, and dedication to Sigma. She was always "On Fire To Serve" and served in various local, regional, and national capacities.

This scholarship is open to all students Sophomore classification or higher with a 3.00 GPA or higher, involved in community service activities, and must currently attend the following universities :


Paul Quinn University
Texas A&M Commerce
The University of North Texas

Alpha Omicron Sigma Charitable Foundation (AOSCF) was established to serve as the charitable arm of Alpha Omicron Sigma (AOS) Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. AOSCF will be the primary funder of AOS’s service programs which focus on youth empowerment, health and wellness, and educational enrichment. All donations made to AOSCF and contributions from AOSCF will be for the benefit of the residents of the community served by AOS.
