Happy Earth Day from ICAE! 🌍

This beautiful cardinal was captured right here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by ICAE National President & CEO Janine Vaughn — a reminder that nature's beauty surrounds us, even in the middle of our busy lives, if we slow down enough to notice.

For Indigenous peoples, the earth is not a resource to be managed. It is a relative to be respected. Every tree, every bird, every body of water carries meaning and deserves our care.

On this Earth Day, ICAE honors that relationship and encourages all of us — regardless of background — to pause, look around, and recommit to protecting the world we share.

ICAE shows up for the community — all of it. 🧑🏽‍🎓

Recently, ICAE National President & CEO Janine Vaughn had the privilege of representing the Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employees at the Dream Opportunity Workshop Day — a dynamic career exposure event co-hosted with the Dallas Innovation Alliance and powered by AT&T Believes. Special Thanks to Texas Native Health who gave us gathering space 🙏🏾

The event brought together students from all walks of life for an evening of career exploration, real talk from industry professionals, and the kind of inspiration that stays with you. ICAE was proud to be present and to represent not just our community, but the broader belief that investing in the next generation is something we all have a stake in.

This is what community looks like in action. This is what ICAE stands for.

150 years ago today, the first telephone call was made. A moment that changed how the world connects — and connection has always been at the heart of who we are.

Proud to mark this milestone as part of the AT&T family. Happy 150th. 📞

The first phone call sparked the creation what is now the largest advanced converged network that connects Americans to the internet faster than ever.

On December 29, 1890, hundreds of Lakota men, women, and children were killed at Wounded Knee. Today, we honor their memory and the resilience of Lakota communities that have endured. Remembering this history is essential for reflection, learning, and supporting Indigenous voices.

A reminder of that tragic day is the mass grave in the hilltop cemetery overlooking the site of the massacre.
