This week we had the opportunity to present checks from Rocking for a Cause to several incredible local organizations.

It was a special day, made even better by having Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts with us for the presentations. His support has meant a lot to this event and to our community.

What started just a few years ago has turned into something really meaningful. Over the past three years, Rocking for a Cause has now given back more than $400,000 to local organizations across Southern Illinois.

That kind of impact only happens because people continue to show up, stand behind it, and believe in what it represents. We’re also incredibly grateful for our sponsors, whose support helps make this event possible year after year.

We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to step up and take care of its own.

Rocking for a Cause Raises Over $175,000 for Local Youth and Community Programs

Dahlgren, IL - The annual Rocking for a Cause Writers Round concert, held on November 8, once again brought music and generosity together, raising more than $175,000 to support youth programs and community initiatives across Southern Illinois.

This years concert featured an outstanding lineup including Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Neil Thrasher, Chase McGill, Trannie Anderson, and Andrew Jannakos. The artists shared the stories behind their hit songs and performed an evening full of emotion, laughter, and connection.

The event also included a live and silent auction, where guests bid on unique items such as signed guitars, handwritten lyrics, and special experiences. All proceeds will directly benefit organizations that make a positive impact in the region.

“It’s incredible to see this community come together year after year to make a difference,” said Rick Rubenacker. “We’re so grateful for everyone who supports this event and helps it continue to grow.”

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters who made this record-breaking year possible. Their generosity and commitment made the night a true success.

Since Rocking for a Cause’s inception, the event has raised over $425,000 to support local youth and community programs throughout Southern Illinois. It continues to grow each year, bringing people together through the power of music.
