It's like if you are a woman and online, you are fair game to deepfake abuse. Those who create this abuse should fully held accountable for the real harm this abuse causes. Full stop. The UK now requires all forms of image-based sexual abuse to be removed within 48 hours. Abusers rarely are held accountable, though. Read more here.

What is striking is this: even if the OnlyFans accounts are taken down, the abusers against her can just keep using Grok to create yet more about material. It's bad humans using tech designed to make their abuse easier and life much harder for women and girls.

Kylie Brewer isn't unaccustomed to harassment online. But when people started using Grok-generated nudes of her on an OnlyFans account, it reached another level.

Virginia sues Apple for negligence over the sharing of child sexual abuse material. We know this fight well. Congrats to our friends who are pushing to Apple to stop storing child abuse material in their Cloud. Seriously...

The West Virginia attorney general’s office sued Apple on Thursday, claiming the tech giant allowed child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) to be stored and distributed on its iCloud service.

Live from the UK: Following the US passage of the Take It Down Act requiring tech companies remove confirmed sexual abuse content offline, the UK has advanced similar legislation. Incredible advocacy from our UK colleagues Jodie Campaigns and Jess Davies with so many others. We were in touch with British parliament member, Charlotte Owen in this critical push to hold tech to account! Stay tuned for big news on Sunday!
