The Pirates handed the Ryan Cowboys their first loss in I believe 38 games and also Ryan was the defending Class C State Champions last year! Next Friday will be the season opening game at Whitman field for the Pirates! Plan on coming out to support Coach Harrell and company!

Meet a CES ( Cyril Elementary School) student Ali Slawson! Ali is a 5th grader and is doing an outstanding job with her recorder! It’s been a long time since Cyril had a music program! It’s back in a very big way as our band has come home after 68 years and our band instructor Mr. Snodgrass is working his magic at a very fast pace! It won’t be much longer and we’re going to hear “Oh CHS”!

Band update!!!
For the very first time in 68 long years our band instructor, Mr Snodgrass is performing the Connecticut March which is our fight song “Oh CHS”! What a blessing he is to OUR school! He is bringing his students right along and we might add at a very fast pace. Thank you so much to OUR outstanding alumni who stepped up and donated to Project 2 which was bringing back our band! This group will provide many entertaining moments for our school as well as our town! Go PIRATES!!!!
