We are incredibly excited to announce that the Cynthiana Rod Run has been voted the 2026 BEST LOCAL EVENT in The Cynthiana Democrat’s Shining Star Readers’ Choice Awards! ⭐️

This one means a LOT to us because it was chosen by YOU — our community. 💙💛

CRR is so much more than a car show. It takes an entire community to fill the streets of Cynthiana with incredible cars, thousands of visitors, local businesses, food, music, volunteers and a whole lot of hometown pride.

To everyone who voted for us, attended the Rod Run, brought a vehicle, volunteered, sponsored us, worked behind the scenes or simply came downtown and enjoyed the day — THANK YOU!

We’re pretty darn proud of what this community pulls off together. 🥹

🏆What a GREAT day at Hammered in the Bluegrass ! 🏆 Several members of our Cynthiana Rod Run committee checked out some absolutely beautiful rides, and after plenty of looking and debating, we finally made our choice! 👀

Congratulations to Tim Walton, owner of this gorgeous bright yellow 1965 Chevy Impala SS, our 2026 Cynthiana Rod Run Choice Award winner, who also took home the Best of Show Award! 💛🔥

With so many incredible vehicles on the grounds, choosing just ONE definitely wasn’t easy — but this Impala caught our attention and earned our vote!

We also want to give another shoutout to Taylor Motorsports and Spicer Machine Tool for sponsoring our one-of-a-kind award. We think that piston trophy looked pretty darn good next to that Impala! 😉🏆

Thank you to everyone at Hammered in the Bluegrass for welcoming the CRR crew and putting on such a great show. We had a blast spending the day with fellow car people and supporting another awesome automotive event!

Congratulations, Tim! We can’t wait to see that beautiful ’65 Impala in Cynthiana next August! 😎🏁💛

Some of our Cynthiana Rod Run committee members are hitting the road this weekend and heading to Hammered in the Bluegrass — and we’re bringing a little CRR hardware with us! 😎🔥

We’ll be checking out the rides and choosing ONE to receive the 2026 Cynthiana Rod Run Choice Award!

And check out this award! 👀 Made from an actual piston because a regular ol’ trophy just wouldn’t do for the CRR. 😂

🛠️🏁 A HUGE THANK YOU to Harrison County SkillsUSA!

We had an awesome group of students from the Harrison County Skills USA join our team at the 2026 Cynthiana Rod Run, helping direct show cars and keep things moving throughout the day — and let us tell you, these kids were FANTASTIC! ❤️

Having SkillsUSA involved this year was especially meaningful to us because many of these students are pursuing the skilled trades — the very students our CRR Trade School Scholarship Program, presented by Warlock Dyno Tuning & Performance, was created to support.

They showed up, worked hard, jumped in wherever they were needed and were such a great addition to our CRR team.

We have a feeling this is just the beginning of a wonderful collaboration between the Cynthiana Rod Run and Harrison County SkillsUSA, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!

Thank you, SkillsUSA students, for helping us make the 2026 CRR such an incredible day! 🏁❤️🛠️

We want to give a special shoutout to the Harrison County EMS team who spent their Saturday with us at the 2026 Cynthiana Rod Run!

With thousands of people filling downtown, having an amazing team of first responders there and ready when needed means more than we can say.

Thank you for helping us keep the CRR safe and for everything you do for our community every single day! ❤️🏁
