SEASON OPENER | FINAL

The Bulldogs battled hard in today’s season opener against CCC Detroit, but came up short, 32-14.

It’s only the beginning. We’ll take what we learned, regroup, and get back to work.

NEXT UP: The Bulldogs hit the road next Saturday as we travel to Trinity College!

A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS 🐾

For the past two seasons, the Cuyahoga Falls Rapids became more than a football team. We built a place around opportunity, development, competition, and helping athletes chase what comes next.

Today, that mission continues in a new setting.

Members of the Rapids leadership team have officially joined Ohio Valley Christian College and their Juco Athletics program.

The Rapids gave us the opportunity to build. Now, we get to take what we learned and use it to help create even more opportunities for athletes through education and football.

To every player, coach, family, volunteer, sponsor, and fan who helped build the Rapids: thank you.

The Rapids will always be part of our story.

Two seasons. One hell of a ride.

From our first snap at The University of Akron to a league championship appearance, the Cuyahoga Falls Rapids gave us memories we’ll carry for a lifetime.

Year one: 7-4. Playoff appearance.

Year two: 11-1. Playoff appearance. Conference champions. League championship appearance.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

To every player who put on the Rapids uniform… every coach, staff member, volunteer and everyone who helped build this thing from the ground up. Thank you.

And to our fans, families, friends, sponsors and everyone who showed up, shared a post, bought a ticket, cheered from the stands or simply believed in us from the beginning…

This was always bigger than football. You helped turn an idea into something real.

Two seasons. 18 wins. Two playoff runs. A conference championship. A league championship appearance.

Not bad for a team that started with nothing but a vision.

The Rapids chapter may be coming to a close, but the story isn’t.
