🐍 Trail Heads Up! 🌿

As the weather warms up, our slithery neighbors are becoming more active. We received reports of snakes, including at least one confirmed rattlesnake, near the North Trail; specifically the area across from the Dog Park.

This is a great reminder to:

* Stay on established trails when possible.

* Keep an eye on where you step, especially around tall grass and brush.

* Keep dogs leashed and close by in areas with limited visibility.

* Give any snake plenty of space if you encounter one.

Our trails are still a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors and we just want everyone to be aware and use a little extra caution while snake activity is at its seasonal peak.

We would like to share with you all the CORRECT poster for Lewis and Clark Festival! We made a few mistakes on it initially, but hopefully we got everything corrected!

We have some fun events planned including - Sunshine Stables, LLC having a petting zoo for the kids. We are thankful for them partnering with us and providing fun for the kiddos.

You can now quickly navigate to our Cut Bank Trailheads using GOOGLE MAPS!! Go to our website: www.cutbanktrails.com/maps. Or simply get your phone out, Google Search “Cut Bank Trails,” and click on Maps! It's warming up, and the trails are looking good! See you out there!

We have three trails:

THE AJ TRAIL. An easy .4 mi. loop for everyone. No street crossings and runs by the playground at Anna Jeffries Elementary. Great for kids and families!

THE NORTH TRAIL. This ADA-compliant trail is completely paved. The trail is 1 mile long (2 miles down and back), and passes by the Cut Bank Sports Complex. Bikes and walkers welcome!

THE COULEE TRAIL. Quickly walk out of town on this 2.3-mile trail that runs along the bluffs overlooking Cut Bank Creek! A more challenging trail for our more intermediate hikers. This semi-loop allows you to walk 0.6 mi. back to your starting trailhead on city streets. Or double back for a long hike!
