Meet Figaro - or "Fig," as she's known around here! 🖤 Fig is a sleek, six-year-old black beauty with a whole lot of personality packed into her petite frame. She came to Furkids in 2024 and has been patiently waiting for the right family to see just how special she is.

Fig will tell you she's a little spicy at first - she likes to size you up before she decides you're worth her time. But give her a little patience and a little space, and that spice melts into something so sweet. Once Fig trusts you, she becomes an affectionate cuddle bug who loves being petted and curling up close.

Fig does have a bit of a bubble when it comes to other cats. She'd do best as the only feline in the household, or paired with laid-back cats who understand that Fig needs her personal space respected. She's not looking to be smothered, she's looking to be understood.

Recently, Furkids shared the story of Keleigh. Keleigh had been in the Furkids program since 2019 - looking for a home for almost 7 years. She was under the care of a loving foster for quite some time, but when they moved and had to bring Keleigh back to the shelter, she struggled with the big change.

We pleaded online to find her person. Because of her FeLV+ status, Keleigh had a hard time finding a home. It wasn't until a special family saw the post, and knew right away that she would have a spot in their home.

Keleigh is now in her forever home, loved beyond measure. Her story is a powerful reminder that there's a home out there for every animal, they just have to hear their story to truly connect. We could not be happier for Keleigh and her new family. 🤍

Our next low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic is happening on Saturday, August 22! 💜 And thanks to Petco Love, the first 150 cats and dogs at each clinic will receive a free DHPP or FVRCP vaccine, while supplies last! Thank you, Petco Love!

Kitten season is still going.. let's finish this out strong! 💪 Furkids is in always in need of fosters, and when you bring a kitty into your home - it frees up space in our shelters so we can go out and save more lives.

Fostering for Furkids is completely free - we will provide all supplies and veterinary care at no cost to you. All we need from you is a safe, comfortable spot for our cats and kittens to land.
