We were incredibly grateful to partner with Domestic Violence Crisis Services to serve the women in their community. It was such a blessing to watch them shop our resource van and pick out clothing and other essential items they truly needed. To everyone who gives and donates—thank you for being part of supporting these women. Without you, it wouldn’t be possible!

Please support them in their DVCS/Kelley’s Rainbow Souper Supper tomorrow night, February 21st, from 5-8 pm at Albertville First Methodist Church.
Tickets are $12. You can expect live music, auction door prizes, and guest speaker Steve Marshall!

This month, we had the privilege of partnering with Micah Camper and his family to support a family led by a single mother in Uganda! With a donation of $200, we were able to sponsor her children for an entire year of schooling and provide them with new clothing. Learning how far the U.S dollar stretches in Africa was eye-opening!

I write this to educate and encourage you. Perhaps you've felt a nudge from the Lord to give, yet you feel the amount you have to give wont be sufficient. Here's an opportunity to see your small contribution make a significant impact.

The amount of suffering we see in the world can weigh heavily on us. However, as we seek to help hurting around us it is easy to feel handicapped by our busy schedule and perceived weaknesses. Here's the GOOD NEWS: you don't have to be boots on the ground to join the fight. In fact, God may lead you to a life of being a vessel of making his missions possible with your finances. Don't allow your inability to personally meet the need to cause you to back out of the fight all together. Utilize the networks and resources God has placed around those in need. Give generously! By doing so, you step off the sidelines and into the heart of the battle.
