Crowley Accessibility Support for the Handicap

We are truly honored that this project is receiving the attention, thoughtful discussion, and careful discernment it deserves. This project was never intended to divide, but rather to promote inclusivity, service, and the utmost consideration for accommodating individuals with special needs. It was always envisioned as something positive that brings our community together and provides enjoyment for families throughout Acadia Parish.

The C.A.S.H. Board has met extensively with our Council members and Mayor to discuss this project, and everyone involved is working diligently to find a solution that best serves the people of Crowley while taking every suggestion to heart. While the final location has yet to be determined, we encourage continued support of our fundraising efforts.

The opportunity to unite as a community and work together to provide this incredible resource for the more than 1,000 children with disabilities in Acadia Parish is truly inspiring. As most of you know i am the Treasurer of the C.A.S.H. ORGANIZATION (Crowley Accessibility Support for the Handicap). For the past year our organization has been working hard at fundraising to meet the financial goals that are needed to build an ADA Compliant Wheelchair Accessible Playground for Handicap and Autistic children of our community! We are at the stage of finalizing and securing the location and we will be meeting with the mayor and city council members at the next city council meeting on June 16th. We have started a PETITION to find out who SUPPORTS OR OPPOSES the location within Levy Park in Crowley Louisiana. We want your FEEDBACK. Louisiana's biggest ADA compliant wheelchair accessible playground! The playground is located at 3305 Rancher Rd in Kenner Louisiana! We are excited to be bringing our very own ADA wheelchair accessible playground to our community, within Levy Park in Crowley Louisiana!

Today at 1pm I will be doing a facebook live from the states largest ADA compliant wheelchair accessible inclusive playground. The name of the park is Miguez Park located at 3305 Rancher Rd. in Kenner, LA. The playground is similar in size and comparable to what we are trying to achieve in Levy Park. We would like to thank Mayor Chad Monceaux, Chuck Ashby and all the city council members for allowing us the time to speak on our plans of building an all inclusive A.D.A. compliant wheelchair accessible playground for all. At the end of the meeting we had overwhelming support from all City Council members and from members of the public! We are looking forward to working with our community leaders on achieving our goals! ***forward to 51 minute mark to hear our presentation***

We sold 540 Jambalaya Plate Lunches at today's event! We would like to thank everyone that purchased JAMBALAYA TICKETS and a huge thank you to all our volunteers! Additionally we would like to thank SUPREME RICE for donating the rice and PRIMETIME for donating the meat! We are so thankful for all the people in our community that came together to make this event a huge success!
