Chairman Not Afraid, Secretary Old Crow, COO Karl Little Owl, IC Thomas Ten Bear stopped by the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Health Service Unit to tour the IHS COVID-19 preparations and to also give a big thank you to our frontline health personnel for their dedicated efforts. Special thanks to IHS CEO Darren Crowe and IHS Deputy CEO/IC Deano Yarlott for leading the Crow Tribes primary federal health partner during this pandemic.

7:40pm Update: Water valve was opened up and the techs are checking for any leaks and making sure the lines hold. The water will be brown for a bit so please be patient on returning back to normal service.

Thank you for your patience and understanding for waiting for water to return back to normal operations. The installation is almost completed and attaching one side of the water main to the water valve and also attaching the fire hydrant.

We understand your frustration that its taking more time than anticipated but the crews want to make sure they’re in compliance with all IHS and EPA standards. Don’t forget a water boil order is in effect when water is reaches your facet.

Water Update- Crow Agency
BIA Superintendent relayed that water will be restored by noon today. The Water operators & contractors worked late into the night and started back up early this morning.

Porta Potties will be ordered asap if this prolongs longer than noon today.

IHS Service Unit is still operational and providing services.
