This is one of those projects that just makes sense for our community.

At Habitat, yes, we build homes. But the heart of the mission has always been bigger than lumber and nails. It is about helping families live with more stability, dignity, and independence.

Sometimes that looks like a safe home. Sometimes it looks like a wheelchair, walker, shower chair, lift chair, or sports gear that makes life a little easier and a whole lot more affordable.

We are so excited to see this new Medical Mobility and Sporting Goods Room come together inside the Crossville Habitat ReStore. Every donation, every purchase, and every person who helps spread the word is helping us meet real needs right here at home.

Come see what’s new, donate what you no longer need, and help us keep building stronger communities in more ways than one.

We do not have Swedish meatballs, tiny mystery screws, or furniture names that sound like someone sneezed. 🤣

What we do have is donated pieces, second chances, good prices, and staff who will absolutely say, “Wait, that’s actually cute,” after rearranging the same corner 14 times.
That is the fun of the ReStore. Nothing matches because it came from a box.

Dad does not need another tie.

He needs the thing he will absolutely swear he has a use for. Tools, yard gear, grills, mugs, frames, and plenty of “oh I could use that” finds are waiting at the ReStore.

Shop Father’s Day gifts for Dad and Grandpa, and feel good knowing every purchase helps build homes locally.

Stop by Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity ReStore and find a gift with purpose.

🤔 What Is It Wednesday! 🤔

This week's mystery item looks like something between a giant flower, a fishing trap, and an alien antenna.

Any guesses what it was used for?

Drop your answer in the comments and tell us:
🔹 What do you think it is?
🔹 What era do you think it's from?
🔹 Have you ever seen one before?

The winner gets absolutely nothing except bragging rights and the satisfaction of being smarter than the rest of us. 😄

Check back next week for the reveal!
Last week's reveal is an antique ice chipper.

He could have used the perforated edge like the rest of civilization, but no. Brian had to turn the lunch table into a jobsite.🤣🍗🚧

Today was a beautiful day on the construction site. What you are looking at is more than block, dirt, tools, and volunteers.

This is the place where a family will one day walk through the door and exhale. Where hope stops being an idea and starts becoming home. That does not happen by accident. It happens because a community decides that families here matter.

Help us build the moment a family finally gets to say, “We’re home.”

Around here, David’s costumes have definitely made their mark. But the real reason people love seeing David in our Habitat videos is not just what he wears. It’s the joy he brings into the room.
It’s the way he makes people feel welcome.
It’s the heart he has for this mission. ❤️

David thinks people love the costumes.
We know people love David.

The costume department submitted a request. It was lovingly denied.
