🥾 Crookston is working to expand safe and convenient walking and bicycling options in town by creating an Active Transportation Master Plan.

🚲 The Plan will identify short to long-term opportunities to advance active transportation in the city and identify the action items that will lead to implementation of the recommendations and ideas in the plan. The City will receive additional technical assistance to start implementing the active transportation action plan in spring of 2026.

This Active Transportation Action Plan is funded through the Minnesota Department of Transportation Active Transportation Program.

📄 To create a Plan that works for our residents, we want to learn about the way you move today and how we might make walking, biking, and rolling (e.g. other mobility devices like scooters or wheelchairs) a safer, more accessible, and enjoyable option in the future.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Fiesta de Crookston event due to the ongoing political climate. We want all guests and cultures to feel welcome at our events. At this time, there is too much unrest for us to comfortably move forward and keep our guests safe. Thank you for understanding. Hopefully we will be able to bring this event back very soon!
