Thank you to all of our neighbors who responded to the High Acres Park Earth Day post. Unfortunately, the weather forecast isn’t cooperating. We’re planning on more upcoming events to continue supporting our local Street2Feet, so please check back with us😊

Hello Neighbors, we wanted to update you on an upcoming event. Over the winter, we were able to continue supporting Street2Feet with donations of food, personal care items, warming supplies and more because of your continued generosity. This amazing organization, aides the homeless and low income population in our area and provides hot meals, showers, laundry, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, job placement, assisted housing and so much more.
We’ll be at the High Acres Park Earth Day on Saturday April 25th 12:00-4:00 selling our shirts and hats and raffling off some beautiful plants donated by Jennifer Major, owner of Stonewall Garden Center in Canadensis. Please stop by and say hello😊

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We want to thank our community for your continued support. Our coat and winter-wear drive was immensely successful thanks to your kindness and generosity. We’ll continue working with those in need locally as we enter the New Year.

Stonewall Garden Center in Canadensis is the dropoff for our Winter Coat Drive. Thank you to owner, Jennifer Major, who continually supports our community by giving back❤️ Please support local bussinesses that support all of us!

Our Winter Coat Drive is going strong… Mountain Strong!!!💪💪💪

We’ve had such generous donations so far. Coats & jackets, hats, scarves, gloves, warm winter boots & more. Mountain Strong Poconos & Stonewall have collected, packed up, & delivered 10 boxes of winter clothing & boots so far. Street 2 Feet in Stroudsburg is SO grateful.

We all feel the chill in the air. People right here in our neighborhoods spent last night outside: on the streets, under bridges, in the woods. All of them out in the cold.

We are so overjoyed to let you know that CJ’s Market in our sister town of Lansing, NC is OPEN for business! Thank you, neighbors, for all of your support of Mountain Strong Poconos over the last year, which enabled us to bring your donations of food, clothing, medicine and so much more to Lansing to help Hurricane Helene survivors rebuild their lives. Our goal was also to help raise continued funding for CJ’s Market so the people of Lansing and surrounding towns would have access to a grocery store. Owners, Trisha and Jamey Hart send their gratitude and love to all of you❤️
