Solid softball season ends at state for Crescent

The Crescent Lady Tigers softball team finished a strong season with a 26-6 record, advancing to the Class 2A State Tournament in Shawnee before falling 11-2 to top-ranked Dale on Thursday. Seniors Trinity Rice, Rylee Alexander, Eli Lovett, McKinlee Kegin and Reagan Williams played their final games in a Crescent uniform.

Kingfisher and our neighbors in the surrounding towns—let’s fill this box together!

Pioneer is joining local businesses to support United Way of Northwest Oklahoma’s Day of Kindness on Friday, November 13!

From October 12 through November 13, we’re collecting health and hygiene products to benefit the Kingfisher Jacket Pantry and Kingfisher County Food Pantry.

🧴 Items needed: Shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorant, diapers, menstrual products, and hairbrushes.

Yesterday we enjoyed Chamber Coffee at Steadfast Construction & Roofing's new office on Main Street (Grand). The coffee was provided by Rise Coffee House and Trent & family provided biscuits and Halei's Homemade Jams & Jellies. Yum!

Jeremy McLemore was our guest speaker from Miller EMS. Thank you Jeremy for sharing important information about the organization and our community. If anyone is interested in serving on an advisory board regarding ambulance service, please talk to Miller EMS.

Thank you for everyone that attended and participated. We enjoyed great conversation, yummy coffee and snacks, and a great sense of community.

Trunk or Treat in Crescent will be Saturday, October 31st from 5:30-7:30pm! We encourage businesses, churches, and individuals to set up on Main Street (Grand).

Last year we saw an increase in house to house treating after Trunk or Treat. We suggest residents to leave on porch lights if you are handing out candy. Be safe and have fun!!

**Also note that Velvet Revival will be having a block party during Trunk or Treat.
